Visiting Angels of San Rafael is in need of a Staffing Coordinator. In this position you will be responsible for handling the weekly recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and employee relations of and for our caregiving staff. This dynamic individual will value being part of a great team and possess passion in their role of this growing and reputable organization.
RECRUITING: Responsibilities will include maintaining tools that attract quality caregivers and identifying new ways of bringing high caliber candidates to Visiting Angels.
INTERVIEWING: This individual must have personal, hands-on interviewing experience in a fast-paced work environment. Our client business is dependent on the qualified and available caregivers on staff so the right individual will play a critical role on this Marin team.
HIRING: Responsibilities will involve the Staffing Coordinator managing the whole process of reference checking, running background check reports, and coordinating and conducting new hire sessions weekly. This individual must be detail-oriented and organized to manage all employee paperwork involved in the hiring process. The Staffing Coordinator must also have the ability to effectively convey our company philosophy, policies, and procedures to all new employees.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: Responsibilities will include but is not limited to handling disciplinary action as directed by the Branch Manager. The Staffing Coordinator will also be responsible for carrying out retention programs and performance evaluations of our caregiving staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years recruiting and staffing experience
Computer proficiency with MS Word and Excel; quick to learn new systems
Excellent interpersonal skills
Great motivation and energy
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong attention to detail and follow up
Must possess a positive, "team player" attitude
Professional presentation a must!
OFFICE HOURS: Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm
