The person in this role is responsible for being the first line of contact for all potential study participants interested in participating in clinical trials. Enrolls potential study participants by accurately informing and querying them regarding upcoming study possibilities. Conduct telephone eligibility screening of potential study participants for inclusion or exclusion in all phases of clinical trials which includes but is not limited to:

• Reviewing screening criteria,
• Providing an overview of the study,
• Responding to study participants preliminary questions,
• Capturing brief medical and medication history of study participants
• Completion of required paperwork
• Maintenance and tracking of calling lists, for the purpose of making outbound calls for study recruitment
• Meet the individual targets set for booking numbers and no-show rates on a daily or monthly basis
• Maintains recruiting accuracy of qualified candidates to meet protocol requirements

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology is a MUST
• Strong organization and attention to detail and able to work independently with efficiency and accuracy; Self-starter and promotes a positive attitude
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel is a Must

In this position you will be responsible for handling the weekly recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and employee relations of and for our caregiving staff. RECRUITING: Responsibilities will include maintaining tools that attract quality caregivers and identifying new ways of bringing high caliber candidates to Visiting Angels.

INTERVIEWING: This individual must have personal, hands-on interviewing experience in a fast-paced work environment. Our client business is dependent on the qualified and available caregivers on staff so the right individual will play a critical role on this Marin team.

HIRING: Responsibilities will involve the Staffing Coordinator managing the whole process of reference checking, running background check reports, and coordinating and conducting new hire sessions weekly. This individual must be detail-oriented and organized to manage all employee paperwork involved in the hiring process. The Staffing Coordinator must also have the ability to effectively convey our company philosophy, policies, and procedures to all new employees.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: Responsibilities will include but is not limited to handling disciplinary action as directed by the Branch Manager. The Staffing Coordinator will also be responsible for carrying out retention programs and performance evaluations of our caregiving staff.

Qualifications:
